At Joseph Curtis we combine the wine storage needs of our clients with aesthetics to create a stunning home for your wine collection. We can also create a separate wine tasting room or integrate a wine tasting area within the wine cellar. No space for a wine cellar? Let us design a 'Wall of Wine' that provides wine storage as well as a dramatic backdrop in the room.
There is no charge for our initial visit to your location which includes:
- site evaluation.
- determine whether a passive wine cellar vs. climate-controlled wine cellar is feasible.
- discuss your wants/needs based on your wine collecting/consuming habits.
- discuss a basic layout and anticipated wine bottle count.
The 2nd phase of the project involves a far more comprehensive study of the cellar space which includes:
- complete wine cellar design work- door style/paint color/finish, tile, lighting, etc.
- optimal approach for properly prepping the cellar room (vapor barrier and insulation).
- choosing a cooling system that will maintain the best possible environment for your wine collection.
- a complete set of 3-D cad design drawings reflecting the overall wine cellar floor plan as well as individual elevations of each wall and an exact wine bottle count.
- an accurate estimate which will not change (unless you the client make changes) we have an excellent track record of completing projects within the initial budget.
Joseph & Curtis requires a deposit to begin the 2nd phase of the custom wine cellar project which varies based on the scope of the project and will be deducted from the proposal price upon a finalized contract.
Although we focus on the New Jersey (NJ) and New York (NY) area, we can service most surrounding states (travel fees apply: PA DE CT)
Our wine cellar cooling systems carry a one year (parts & Labor) warranty. Extended warranties available on some models.
