Glass Wine Cellar in Chelsea NYC Apartment

July 15, 2013

The Cellar Journal

Joseph and Curtis Custom Wine Cellars recently completed a 500+ bottle stainless steel and glass wine cabinet. This cabinet was designed by my business partner Joseph Kline. The cabinet measures 14' tall and 10' wide with metal wine racks in the lower portion and sapele mahogany wine racks in the upper portions.

The cabinet was designed to fit into a niche located next to the NYC apartment's dining room with three objectives: presentation, presentation, and presentation. The cabinet is visible from the entire apartment. Add the glorious led lights at night and you have a sexy, and incredibly clean and sleek showpiece. The glass has a special tint to avoid UV rays from the sun which can be harmful to the preservation of wine longevity.

The stainless steel was selected to bring an "urban" restaurant feel into the client's Chelsea NYC apartment. This stainless steel, refrigerated wine cabinet is truly a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Working in the Big City can be quite a challenge, but that's why you need a design team such as Joseph and Curtis.
