At the base of Baltusrol Mountain, a club that has hosted seventeen major championships asked for a wine room to match its standing. The cellar holds 2,500 bottles in black walnut racking over brick flooring — horizontal display rows, baker racks, and custom case bins organizing the members' collections. A textured ceiling and LED lighting give the room its character; a dedicated climate system protects what's inside. Built for a membership that's been gathering since 1895, it reads less like an addition and more like something the clubhouse had always been missing.
