Hospitality Wine Cellars
The Fiddler's Elbow
When Fiddler's Elbow replaced the glass dividers in its main dining room, the brief was furniture that felt original to the 1965 clubhouse. Two black walnut wine cabinets now stand in their place, glazed seamlessly on both faces so LED light reaches the bar on one side and the dining room on the other. Inside, individual rental trays hold a case-plus of each member's own wine, ready at their table - the trays sold out in minutes. Less a cellar than a piece of the room: storage, display, and mood lighting working both sides of dinner.
